It is freakin’ cold outside and I have no idea what to do with my son this weekend.
The winter with toddlers is tough. The summer with toddlers – and yes I am now calling Zachary a toddler – is easy because you can go the play ground, the park, the zoo and lot’s of other fun outdoor activities. The winter is tough especially when it is super freezing out like it has been this past week and will be this weekend. No matter how much we bundle up Zachary it is probably not a good idea to spend a lot of time outside with him this weekend. What to do then? The play gym he goes to is only open Saturday mornings. What have we done during past cold weekends? We have taken him to run free at FAO Schwarz, Barnes & Noble and any other place we have thought of that won’t kick us out too fast. The above picture is from last weekend where Zachary was playing in the children’s section at Bloomingdale’s. Zachary can only run around our apartment and building for so long before our and his boredom set in. We have to get out this weekend. Maybe we will let Zachary run around Bed, Bath & Beyond this weekend.

Maybe home depot…don’t know if there will be enough time…
