My continuing series about why I think we should send toy manufactures to Guantanamo Bay

June 27, 2012

The above toy is one of the really cool gifts Baby Zachary got for his birthday. This gift was from his grandparents and, with the help of his grandfather, I put it together but it took a few hours. The toy car looks like it would be so simple to put together but I swear I have not dealt with such difficult logic problems since the LSAT. I have never seen less helpful directions. The directions seemed to just stop halfway and not include many of the steps. If there was another page of directions it was certainly not included in our box. I hope the car is safe as there were way too many pieces left over at the end which is never a good sign.

Hi i came across your blog searching for details on cradle cap in particular cradle cap (Seborrheic dermatitis) on the face and body aswell as the head. I am a mother of a 3 month old little girl who also has this condition currently. Like your mrs 🙂 i’ve gone into grease mode and keep applying cetraban thick cream all over her body (prescribed by pead). I had a few questions and was hoping you could shed some light from your own experience….when did it clear up for your little man (who btw is absolutely gorgeous :-)). I was hoping to reach out to you for some first hand experience. Most of the information i have found on the net relates to cradle cap of the head but not the body….. I think i’m going crazy applying the cream all over her several times a day……

for the head we did baby oil.rub it all over scalp and then leave on for an hour. wash head and then brush out the flakes with a comb. We also used Mustella foam shampoo for his head and body. The combination of those plus applying two creams day and night – Mustella cream for eczema and acquaphor is what worked. I think it started at 1 month and looked much much better by 2 months. We still apply the creams today but stopped with the other methods. This is wifey answering by the way. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.
